Strive Soccer Club Update!
As we hit the halfway mark of the fall season, we’re thrilled to celebrate our second year as Strive Soccer Club. This season has been an incredible learning experience, with noticeable progress across the majority of our teams and individual players. As we move forward, we’re excited to finish the fall season on a high note and take on the upcoming tournaments!

Select and Academy: 2024 Season Highlights 🎉
In 2024, we've witnessed significant development within our teams as we’ve begun competing at higher levels. Our success in the Spring of 2024 at the select level has allowed some teams to advance and be promoted, which has tested our abilities but aligns perfectly with the direction we’re aiming for with the club.
As we transition into the fall season, we’re excited to see the 2014 birth year players graduate to select soccer. Additionally, our academy has experienced a notable increase in participation, with numbers rising by 30%. This growth has enabled us to introduce a new league and elevate the level of play for our academy teams.
End of Season Celebration: Parents vs. Players Showdown! 🎉⚽
Attention Parents! Get ready for the ultimate season finale with our Parents vs. Players Game on December 18th during regular training times! Dust off your boots and prepare to practice what you preach—it's your chance to show the kids that you can dominate them in this exciting end-of-season showdown!
There’ll be food, good times, and plenty of action on the field as we finish the year with some fun!
Update on Lighting plan: Jumbo Evans Soccer Complex
Here’s a bright spot (literally!) for next season—Field 8 lighting project at Jumbo Evans is set to be complete! Phase 1 of the lighting project is underway, ensuring safe and effective evening practices starting in Spring. We can’t wait to kick off spring under the lights.
Christmas Comes Early for Selected Strive Players! 🎄⚽
Exciting news for some of our Strive players from our sister organization, Manchester School of Soccer! Every year, a group of our players attends the Road to Pro overnight camp at John Newcombe Ranch in New Braunfels. This week-long camp immerses players in the life of a pro, pushing them through challenging on- and off-field drills to sharpen their skills and endurance. This isn’t just any camp; it's a shot at something incredible. Selected players will receive a “golden ticket”—an invitation to join the Manchester School of Soccer squad competing in one of the UK’s most competitive tournaments, held in Manchester, England, in April 2026!

Can My Player Still Have a Chance to Be Selected for the UK Tour 2026?
Yes! During the 2025 Road to Pro camp, we’ll continue evaluating players for the UK Tour in 2026. For those selected this year, we’ll begin preparations with the chosen players and teams at the 2025 camp.

Hold Off on the Milk and Cookies This Christmas!
While we all look forward to some well-deserved time off, it’s important for players to stay active and keep practicing over the holiday break. Relentless and Strive will be kicking off pre-season with a bootcamp for select players, followed by a fitness-focused week to start the new year. So, remind your players to enjoy the holidays but also to keep up with training to be ready for the spring season.
Below is a list of camps, private lessons, and group training sessions run by our sister organization during the break. They also have a YouTube channel, offering drills players can do from anywhere—perfect for staying on track even if you’re traveling!

Year around Training options
Center of Excellence: This program is designed for individual players who want to practice alongside like-minded athletes. Participants in the weekly training sessions are goal-oriented and aspire to compete at high levels, including college and professional soccer. They understand the importance of extra training, and this elite platform is a popular choice among players in the community to help them achieve their goals.

Private Lessons: Improve your players' individual skills and game understanding over the break! We tailor sessions to improve on the players weaknesses but also their strengths. Located at the John Newcombe Ranch in New Braunfels, Road to Pro immerses participants in the life of trainee professional soccer players, featuring a series of intense on- and off-field tests. This rigorous camp provides a unique opportunity for players to be selected for a Manchester School of Soccer squad that will compete in one of the UK’s most competitive tournaments in Manchester, England, in April 2026

Get Ready for Friday Night Lights! 🌟⚽
Join us on Friday, November 15th, for an exciting Friday Night Lights event! Our 4v4 recreational teams will play under the lights, with free food provided for BYSA recreational players to enjoy a fun-filled evening. Strive Academy teams will showcase their skills in thrilling exhibition matches, while our recreational teams compete in fast-paced 4v4 games. Manchester School of Soccer will also be on-site with information about camps and extra training opportunities, making it a perfect night for family, friends, and community spirit. We can’t wait to see you there—let’s come together to celebrate the game we all love!
